The pleasantly scented Kräuter® Snail Extract Gel, with its complex ingredients, regenerates and hydrates the skin with maximum efficiency, visibly improving the appearance of scars. Allantoin stimulates skin regeneration, while proteins nourish and tighten the skin. Poly-Helixan, which contains collagen and elastin, provides elasticity to the skin and prevents the proliferation of harmful bacteria. It soothes and alleviates skin irritations after hair removal, shaving, or sunbathing.
The gel contains Poly-Helixan, also known as snail extract, which has healing effects on the skin, scars, irritations, wounds, minor burns, acne, blemishes, and stretch marks. Snail extract is rich in calcium carbonate, allantoin, enzymes, vitamins A, C, and E, elastin, and collagen, which stimulate skin regeneration and elasticity. The gel hydrates and brightens the skin, visibly healing wounds. Poly-Helixan was tested on scars of fifteen volunteers aged 13-55. Participants applied a cream containing 5% Poly-Helixan to their scars twice daily. Measurements were taken before the study and repeated at the end. The results showed that after 30 days, skin firmness increased by an average of 32%, hydration by 17%, and scars visibly improved.
